Importing from Setlist.fm

Concerts are the shelf the other trackers don't have — and probably the shelf you've kept the least of. If you've marked gigs as attended on setlist.fm, you can pull them all in at once.

What you need

Just your setlist.fm username: the part after /user/ in your profile URL. Your profile has to be public, otherwise we can't reach it. Enter the name on the import page under Setlist.fm and start the import.

If we can't find a public profile, or it holds no attended concerts, we say so immediately — nothing gets created.

What comes across

From every attended gig we take the artist, the venue, the city and country, the date, the tour and the full setlist with every song played. The item is named artist — venue, gets the status past and the tag setlist.fm, so you can find everything you imported behind one filter later.

And afterwards

Setlist.fm has no artist photos, so for the image we use the cover of the headliner's best-known album. Recognisable on your library card, and you can always replace it with your own concert photo. After that we write a short description based on what's known about the night.

Large profiles

We fetch your gigs page by page and deliberately pause between requests so setlist.fm doesn't throttle us. With hundreds of concerts that takes a while; the import keeps going in the background. If the profile becomes unreachable halfway, we keep what we had and tell you it ended up a partial import.

Run the import again later and only the new concerts are added — we recognise the ones already there.

The free plan's ceiling

Same here: 100 items on the free plan, and the import counts towards it. At 100 it stops. See Free and Pro.
